It is with great pleasure that the European Academy of Religion announces its third Annual Conference, which will take place in Bologna between Monday, June 22nd and Thursday, June 25th 2020. Fscire (www.fscire.it) will be the organizing institution. The scientific program will be composed of keynote lectures and working sessions (panels, book presentations).

The overarching topic of the Conference, as chosen by our President Herman Selderhuis, is: The Power of Religion / Religion and Power.

Starting from this year, we will open only a Call for Panels and a Call for Author Meets Critique. Papers will be only allowed to be proposed within the open calls published on the website. Papers not included in panels won’t be accepted.

Registrations open in conjunction with the Call for Proposals. Four registration periods have been identified and fees vary accordingly. Together with the registrations, memberships for the year 2020 will be opened. A valid 2020 membership is necessary in order to benefit of the discounted fees for the Annual Conference 2020.
